We have a growing number of farm animals. The chicken house has been finished and we have one rooster and bought some chicks. Some of them did not make it due to cold and our lack of electricity to keep them warm but we are hoping the rest will survive. The dog grows daily and the cow is getting closer to being in milk. Life takes on a sort of rhythm that makes time pass in a slow hurry. We made our first cheese and hope to keep upping the production. We want to build a little stand on the coast of the river since we are along a popular trailand sell whatever we can think of to the hikers going up to the glacier. Homemade beer? Some dried herbs or some homemade bread? Root coffee? Veggies? The sky is the limit. Or at least lack of refrigeration….
